Composting question....

Ok I'm new to gardening and the forum. I'm thinking about starting a compost and I was reading some threads on here about making bins out of pallets which is a great idea. I was wondering though when it comes to the Brown/Green do you make seperate bins for them or mix them?

Thank you for the info. Tomorrow I plan on picking a spot and starting a pile. Being in Northeast Fl is a partially shady spot ok it gets hot and dry in the summer. Also I have plenty on leaves, scraps from produce coffee grounds, are bannana peals ok?

If it was alive, it will rot.

If visiting critters is a concern add less meats/fats.
