Good or Bad?

My wonderful cat, Baby Kitty, recently massacred all of my fish. One was about 8'' long. To big to eat and to big to flush. Can I put poor Monster in the compost bin? I know no meats or dairy. So would this be a meat? Maybe this is a dumb question after all.

If you don't have critters about or you have a closed in bin that they can't get into, small amounts of this kind of thing, buried in the pile, is OK. There are many posts here talking about composting fish guts, shrimp and lobster shells, etc.

Make sure there are enough browns with it (dry leaves, sawdust, shredded paper etc.) to absorb the high level of nitrogen from all that protein.

Poor Monster. :(
