Just keep waiting, the food goes away.
So I've got a bunch of soldier fly larvae (big suckers!) for now. And a couple of frogs(?).
If there are frogs in your compost IT IS NOT HOT ENOUGH (not that I have the volume or intention for heat).
No plans to contrap or set up a dry spot for larvae to hatch, so they'll just ... stop, die, whatever. I hate to just let them eat and die but I do not have the therbligs at the moment to contrap something for them to escape. Maybe if I make a bigger lid that REALLY doesn't let water in I'll hang something down in there along the walls they can climb up and finish morphing on/in/around in a dryish way.
Maybe SoFla is too wet for this particular composting experiment.
At least it all (including the front porch stealth composers) smell like DIRT!
