Dead fish in compost?

Hi,

My Angelfish died yesterday and I froze it. Could I toss it in the compost bin?

I don't see why not. When my dad put full on dead rats in under his plants in containers, they loved it. The best part was the plants took away the nutrients so fast that it didn't even smell bad

A burial at compost make more sence than the more common burial at toilet...

Just bury them directly in the soil. That is what we do with scraps when we get done cleaning them after fishing.

Are you sure that it's dead? Could just be pretending to stay home from school :)

Yeah 2 other fish died days earlier with the same symptoms. It was very weird to lose all three fish. I couldn't figure out the cause of death was but I think something contaminated the water like something being sprayed near or they ate bad food. The smaller fish were alright though.

Anyway I buried the fish into the soil about 6 inches deep. And then I planted some chamomile seeds around it.
