Need to heat it up !!!

So I have my new compost tumbler but it just does not seem to be getting Hot enough. I have mainly shredded paper from the office as the browns along with paper bags and paper plates in small pieces and lots of kitchen waste as the greens, I do not have grass clippings to put in it yet. What can I do to heat it up and make this process move along a little faster. :?:

Is it moist enough? All those paper products soak up water, so you may need to add some water. You don't want it wet or soggy, just damp.

If it is moist enough, then you just need more greens. Coffee grounds are good. You can get them from places like Starbucks or gas stations that serve coffee, or I just bring them home from work, since we always have coffee going there for the whole office.

And make sure it has plenty of air holes.
