Okay, so I read a lot that Leaves are great "Brown Material" but I have a large amount of tree trimming to do soon and the leaves will still be green.
If the leaves are still green do they count as "Brown" for compost still or should I let them dry out first?

Please read through the thread at the top of the Compost Forum. Not only are there good suggestions from members about green or brown ingredients for compost, but there are excellent explanations of what makes an ingredient green or brown. (Hint: It's not color....)

There are also a few links in that thread to incredibly informative sites on composting for the home gardener.
