Need a little advice on a compost tea brewer

Planning on building one of these things. My thoughts so far are using a large plastic barrel with some kind of aeration. Not sure how big an aerator I need for a 55 gallon barrel though, any advice on the subject? I plan to use a burlap bag with the compost ingrediants. How long should I brew the tea? What is the shelf life? Should I brew the tea with the top on or off the barrel? Any other useful advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is the recipe I have thus far:
Manure
Molasses
Baker's Yeast

Any other useful add ins? Also can I use feed grade molasses?
