Note book paper

IS note book paper ok for compost even if it has writing on it?

You're talking about the three-hole-punched binder paper? Like students use?

I've used it (shredded or just torn up) in my compost pile. Some had pencil notations, some pen, some with highlighter markings.

It all disappeared. :D
