Pic of my Tumbler Composter

I just got a new tumbler composter and I love it. There's a lid that unscrews on the top & bottom that has 4 vents for air and for draining. I throw everything in and spin it a couple times and I'm done.

Before, I used a black trash can as my composter and it was so smelly because I couldn't turn it and so everything at the bottom was too wet. I now use the black trash can to collect leaves and grass clippings to later add to the compost.

My compost is starting to smell "sweet." There's even steam when I open it to add new items so I guess it's working. Can't wait for next spring to start my garden!

Congrats on getting a new compost tumbler. You purchased a really good one. It's quite a sturdy tumbler and a few spins a day will quickly produce compost. I hope you keep us updated on the progress as well. :D
