Hi there all.. I have just double dug some beds in our beautiful lawn with loads and loads of black well rotted manure. Where the pile of Horse dung it along side is last year’s pile and the pile from the year before. This has been eaten and eaten by worms and now is fine soil. Is this going be super food for potting seeds??? Thanks in advance
NB I have seen worm casings sold for ...£9 per 10kg.. I am getting barrows and barrows of it free
Dung,
If you have horse manure that is sitting on the ground(worm access) and has been composted for 2 years, there is no reason I can see you can't use it for any purpose you want. 24 month poo will have decomposed and/or leached out anything that would prevent seed germination. Or use it for any other growing purpose.
Best of Luck

Dung,
Rot always has good advise.
If you have double dug your garden trenches, there should have been some mixing of the dirt with the composted manure. So Rot's concern should be addressed. I've double dug one year horse and also cow into my garden and it has done great.
I'm not sure what you mean by "potting seeds"
sorry for my ignorance.
But if you've double dug, you should have fresh dirt on top and you can germinate the seeds for happy little veggies.
