What to Mix into Muddy Wet Compost?

I just got a free pickup truckload of compost.Right now It's very Sticky,Muddy like almost,What should I mix it with to make it work for my containers and a raised bed I am setting up?..Keep in mind I will need a lot of Whatever to mix with it as I have a small truck load.

Also it is un screened, rocks, sticks and stuff..Should I just leave it in there?Except the bigger rocks?

Jason.

Hopefully it doesn't have a bad smell to it. If it does, it's not good stuff. Put it at the back of the yard and add a bunch of leaves, straw, if you don't have dogs cocoa bean hulls or shredded newspaper.

If it doesn't smell bad, add the same. Leaves are the best in my mind, don't add peat. That's bad stuff for a number of reasons. You could just mix it with dirt as well but, I like leaves and what not.

The thing is I need to use it right away,so I was looking for an additive I could buy and mix in with it.

Sorry to hear about that. You could use it for next season by adding a bunch of leaves and newspapers to it probably.
