Prius is almost here!

Got a call from the dealer yesterday, should be ready for pickup next week? Took care of some of the paperwork what with the loan, insurance and all, etc. Have a deposit on my car for sale. Yeesh, what a whirlwind of activity! The thing has a gas tank and a gas bladder, eeewww! Something about filling up at the right time of day/phase of the moon, or something. I'm excited and dreading it all at once. Dreading it 'cuz you all know how computer savvy I'm NOT, and this thing is mostly drive-by-wire and electronic this and that. Sigh. They say if you keep learning new things you're preserving brain cells against dementia or something. Ohhhkaaaay. Have to change my leadfoot ways; now THERE's a challenge!

What is a gas bladder??? I don't think the 2004 Prius has one; maybe it's a new feature since 2004?

And the "leadfoot" should cure itself as soon as you get used to the "current miles per gallon" display on the--ah--instrument panel.

Cyn.H; I have no idea--I'll find out soon enough. Pickup date has been moved to Friday afternoon!
