Trivial info on Tonic water SG

We put raspberries in our summer afternoon gin drinks. I have gin & tonic; my wife has gin & water. My raspberries float, hers do not. Isn't that interesting? (No answer required

PS and more importantly - the raspberries slightly color & flavor the drink and are delicious when it's finished.
