Some local lakes, photos.

We spent some time on some local lakes kayaking and sitting on the beach, all of them are not to far from our home.

Trillium Lake.

This is Clear lake, but due to the drought there is almost no water in it, we did not kayak on it.

Beautiful. We only have one man made lake here. No one can swim in it. Boats and fishing require permits and most of the water is used for irrigation. Right now with the storm a week we have been getting and the saturated ground, the lake has filled some. However, with heavy rain comes problems with sewage spills, so only idiots go to the beach when the water is murky after a storm. It is usually when people report the most shark attacks because the sharks come in for a free lunch on whatever gets washed into the stream.
