Re: USA northeast coast storm

May all our HG members in the northeast stay warm and safe, and may the predicted storm be less that expected.
X2!

You can click this LINK and watch NOAA's radar loop of the U.S.

You can click any part of that map and see the local radar.

Technically bordering mid-Atlantic and NE and typically not as hard hit here so hopefully we will be OK, but I echo marlingardener and digitS in wishing everyone the safest and warmest outcome through this latest storm. :bouncey:

Hope webmaster and all the people in the area are doing ok. What about you, applestar? Is the storm hitting you. We had snow Sun night, but this storm is more coastal and isn't affecting us in the heartland...

Do you think that the teevee people will ever stop calling them an "historic" storm until after they actually happen?

Nah, they aren't gonna stop that.

Thank you for your concern marlingardener. The storm is just finishing up here in the center of Long Island, with a snow total of 15 inches. As it looks now the east end is gonna get clobbered with 30 inches of snow. We were very lucky in that the snow is not the heavy wet stuff that would have caused power outages on a massive scale, and snow removal, that would have taken days to clean up. Personally, I'm grateful for all the hype. Makes all the pea brains think a little before they consider themselves invincible, and risk someone else's life to come out to save theirs.

If you don't want all that snow send some to our mountains they are almost bare.
