I just got a gallon of Aloe Vera 100 % juice at Wal Mart for about $7. I just had about 4 ounces of it. The internet is confusing telling you to only drink 4 ounces while the bottle says 8 ounces. It seems like a good product so lets here some comments?

Why are you drinking Aloe Juice? What are the proposed benefits? I grow Aloe and use it as a balm for burns, small wounds and insect bites. I would never consider drinking aloe juice.

It says on the gallon to drink 8 ounces I drank about 3 ounces yesterday! Did not like the taste .. On the net it says 2 to 4 ounces once a day so what up?

what is on the gallon is put there by the people who make profit out of selling the most of it they can....

If they could get away with recommending drinking a gallon of it at a time, they would, but they are constrained by the need not to kill their customers.

I'm not surprised it isn't easy to get down. I have never seen aloe vera "juice." What is used for topical problems is aloe vera gel, which is viscous. It would be about like drinking snot.

It was in the health section. My friend drank it to help with a stomach problem several years ago and said it helped!

This caught my attention. When I worked at Walgreens, we had aloe juice in gallon (?) containers, like a milk jug in the tummy area. I was stocking OTC's, this not a big seller, but some buying. Never inquired on what it did, but something with tummy.
