King Fire in California

https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/4108/

This fire is still below us but is moving up the mountain, Helicoptors are buzzing over us, they come for water to drop on the fire. If you wish, click on the link it will take you to the command center.
76,000 acres have burned so far.

Greetings, They have found the fire to be Arson. When the wind is in our direction the valley fills with smoke, the smoke extends into Nevada and extends past our lower ranch which is about 80 miles east of here. Today the ski is clear. The size of the fire is at 100,000 acres. The fire is below Lake Tahoe, we are about 10miles from the Lake. We could use a good rain.

The fire has jumped 5km and a second fire east of the main blaze has started. The fire is near 50 miles long.

The news on The Weather Channel say that Wayne Allen Hunstman, 37, set the fire. He's in El Dorado jail on $10 MILLION bail. Serves him right.

Greetings, It rained a well yesterday, the rain turned to snow last night. It's still raining down lower, this should have slowed or stopped the fire.

This has been and is very scary. Glad to hear Mother Nature is helping and the fire maybe under control. Good luck.

We're glad of the rain and snow, Hy 50 is open. Weather is warming up but it should be as wet in the fire areas and in the black, the burned area. Well, we have all been praying, this unseasonable wet weather we believe is our answer.

There is still fire in heave timber but this should give the guys on the line the chance they needed.

Yes, under control, we had a couple days of heavy rain, just in time. Glad to hear the one near you isn't a problem anymore. Have a great day Tom.
