A new movie just coming out that embodies all that is Girl Rising, people who share my tastes should look for it.

The only one on your list I have seen was Schindler's List, and I only saw it because it was a school assignment. So, I think it is fair to say that we would not have much to say if we were at the same dinner table. That said, I don't have much in common with my wife when it comes to movies, either. I can't remember the last time I walked out of a theater thinking "Wow, that was a great movie." I was suckered into seeing Gravity, with all the hype. I am pretty sure I fell asleep at some point.

And I of course loved Gravity!

If you want to try expanding your range a little, start with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It's from 1975 and stars the young Jack Nicholson, and is hilarious as well as a message of triumph of a free spirit over tyranny. Has a certain not too delicate sensibility that you might enjoy.

One Flew Over the Cukoos Nest is a brilliant movie. It also stars a young Brad Dourif as Billy Bibbit. Brad Dourif is one of my favorite character actors. You may know Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, he also played the role of Grima Wormtongue in the Lord of the Rings movie. He also played one of the creepy thug minions in David Lynch's Blue Velvet (Raymond). One Flew is every bit as good as the book, maybe even better since it's not told from the point of view of Chief Broom.

Some good movies on this list. Just put a dozen on my Netflix!

I just got Gravity in 3d as I heard it was very good in 3D, I see it this weekend.

I have been watching Under The Dome on Blu-ray, the TV series is way different then the book. What happens and even the characters and their relationships to each other is not even like the book. One cool thing is it is like seeing a new story.

I have seen the whole 1st season..... and my daughter just took the book out of the library...... I would like to read the book but it looks like it is 1000+ pages, which would take me 6 months.

We have Netfllix, HuluPlus, and Amazon Instant Video..... so I shall be looking up some of the aforementioned movies. I actually had bought One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at a yard sale on DVD for $2....... I never was able to get it to play on any DVD player, even though I didn't see any scratches.

Just saw a really unusual, quirky, funny movie with a lot of art and whimsy, called the Budapest Hotel. And what a cast!

My wife asked me what movie I rented, I told he I rented” Teenage Summer Camp Chainsaw Mutant Monster Massacre Party. She gave me that look and said “what did you really rent?”

I could never bring myself to watch any of the Saw movies, I am not into slasher movies, a good scary movie or sci-fi is fine.

It was edited to make room for TV commercials to the point of being meaningless. Fun movie when intact. besides whats not to hate with the "TPC". (the phone company)

Just rented The Wolf of Wall Street. I really expected to love it..... I fell asleep halfway in, and had no desire to finish it when I woke up.

I was going to rent that movie as my wife’s cousin worked on the music, I think he mixed it or he may have played on some of it as well.

Hi, I just watched a move: Made in 1934, "It Happened one Night" Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.

Life was sure simpler, cleaner and clearer than. Right and wrong, good or bad were't smeared. You can find it on line, you can go there and remember or view for the first time who we were, who and what we looked like, felt like and tried to be. May want to watch it by your self the first time. I'm sure a couple of us will enjoy.
