What do you want for Christmas

I can't believe the year has zipped by so fast and Christmas is upon us again. Christmas is a time we anticipate and plan for all year and then in one day it is gone for another year.

It is a time for catching up with old friends, spending time with family, and remembering that somewhere, once long ago a child was born who was the hope of the world and that faith can perform miracles (Hanukkah).

In the spirit of Christmas what do you want for Christmas?

In Oregon we have had one of the worst starts to ski season ever, I really want snow for Christmas.
I could use a hug, so send me a virtual hug.
I am not getting any garden stuff for Christmas this year, maybe in the spring.

I want to think on December 25th that my Christmas cards were all mailed on time! I send a little note with them and that turns into a little bit of a job as I try to be informative and personalize each.

The possibility that DW will get me a new PC is both a plus and a minus. I don't know that there is so much wrong with this one, maybe it needs a little time in the computer shop. Spending the $ doesn't have much appeal to me. Besides, maybe I should be replacing the laptop and not the desktop . . . and what about these tablets? I don't know enuf to make a decision  !!

Should ask for gift certificates at some seed outfits. That would add to my fun in 2014!

My wife and I have been sick, I have been ill for going on five weeks now, I was so sick I missed two weeks of work and I am still not over it. What I mostly want for Christams is for me and my wife to be well.

So sorry to hear you have been ill, tom. Hope you get your wish and you and your family are well for Christmas.

Here's my letter to Santa:

Dear Santa: I have everything I could wish for this year, good friends, family, and love. Please take care of those who need you!!

Tom, sending you a hug . . .

Would the thought of more snow help you get well? I don't know what your forecast is but here is what has been going on with Oregon snow. It sure isn't much! These are percentages of average snow water equivalent as of a week ago from the Weather Service. (I think it is based on the weight of the snow.)

You've got just over 1/3rd of what you usually have, Tom. We should be wishing some more snow down in your direction. Wishing you well, at least.

We got MORE snow overnight! Often Cincinnati doesn't get any snow until January. I think we may have now broken our record for the amount of snow total in December (which was 12") and there is still a lot of December to go!

GMO labeling would make a great stocking stuffer. :)

Time off work/school/everything, relaxation, and nice meatloaf.

Happy Holidays!!!!

Honesty I have already been floored by the generosity of this community! I have probably all of the seeds I need for next years garden from generous people!

I would love an AquaFarm. I am sure I could make one DIY but the system is kind of neat and fun!
