Need to move my cymbidiums from California to Texas

What is the best procedure to move outside cymbidiums? Is it possible? I have 5 pots. need help!

I think we need more information.

How big are they?
When are you moving them?
How are they being transported?
How many days enroute?
Via what (geographic) route -- I.e over the Rockies?

It's getting cold as in freezing around here, so naturally I wonder if you may need to guard against the plants getting too cold or frozen.
