What to do with old beer?

My wife got a bunch of beer for her dad on sale, then he got on a medication that made it so he does not drink alcohol any more so it went to waste. He drank only one or two beers a day, but the wife got like four cases. I do not drink much so there are still 3 cases of it left, plus some other kinds of beer left over from a party we had. So there may be 4 cases of beer left. The beer is two or more years old. So I have a large spot that is tilled up, and I am thinking of dumping the beer on the ground, would this feed the soil or be bad for it? I may try using some as slug traps.

Slug beer traps. Remember to recycle the cans!

Tom said, striking his midsection, "its tough to drink old beer with slugs in it, but there are sacrifices sometimes we just have to make".

On a more serious note your compost pile or garden itself can make good use of spent beer.

I prefer to use filtered beer if you know what I mean.
