This was sunset today from about 5,000 feet, a few miles from my home. The picture is from a local person:

Shucks, I not only didn't see the mountain today but, I didn't see the sun! Visibility was 1/8th mile for much of the day at a local airport . . . .

Prettygurl,

Is that the lake color or the sky color? As I recall, January at the south end of Lake Michigan, where I only spent fifty of my years, is not quite as blue as your picture. Unless you're talking about a cloudless day. But most days were pretty gray.

I'll take Queen Bee's approach any day. Nothing lifts the mood like some good music! :-()
