Timberline on Mt. Hood and wild flowers. Photos

We do not live far from Mt. Hood and drove up to timber line to see the wild flowers the other day.

Up higher on Mt. Hood at Timberline ski area and above the lodge where there is summer skiing.

Gorgeous. Thank you again for your beautiful photos of places it's difficult for me to think about getting to, what with...everything.

In my imagination, though, I've seen those lupines, and that lodge (architecture very similar to the Ahwahnee Hotel/Lodge in Yosemite, where I *have* actually been). Do you know the name of the yellow wildflowers?

great pics but what I really loved was the fireplace. I am mason and they did a great job on that nice tight joints, good work. I have seen some junk jobs in my line of work, of course not from me. Heck no aint gonna happen 8)
