I'm a little baby. I'm only 20 years old!
I just started container gardening, for I only live in an apartment. I also am mastering the soap making craft.Good ol' oil and lye =)
While I can't say I have done anything amazing in my young life, my proudest accomplishment is that I have been completely independent from my family right after hitting 18. That's pretty uncommon these days!
I have lived in Arizona,Idaho,Oregon...but the greatest place is where I am now. Washington State is just the perfect place to be. =)

What you do at a early age will effect you all your life. I started gardening with my father while my other family could care less. When you work in a garden many things rub off to make you a better person! Kidness and generosity are two of the great benifits since you want to always share your experiences and by poducts of food! I had the kindest father and even wrote a article in the paper about him when he was 90 years old! Old does not mean right and I am still learning! The yound add to new ideas with their clearer minds so keep up the good work guys! A compliment will get better results that criticism every time even though both may exist in your opnion! Seeds keep the world fed!
I'm a 24 year old mom who was in the US Navy for 5 years, I have an active little 4 year old boy who loves to help me in the garden. My husband is still in the service and so its mainly my son and I who garden around the house.
I have interest in writing books, reading them, and making chainmail armor and decorations of all things. I'm a cancer survivor and I absolutely love living life even when it gets rough.
Right now we live in Virginia Beach but whenever my husbands military contract is up we'll be moving down to Texas so we get to see how well many of my plants weather the move.

My husband wants to try making chainmail. I think it's awesome to see older people going on internet forums, but I can't get my 50-something year old mother to even figure out how to send a text message
I'm jealous!
I learned to use the computer 8 years ago because I sell my fishing bobbers on the net! I use computers some timess but I have a msntv 2 web tv that works on high speed. I have 10 e-mail addresses and can do most what a computer can do but I like it better in some ways! I can move around the net faster with the web tv ! I have a remote key board and a remote hand held device! Everything shows up on my tv so I don't need a monitor. I think every older person should have one. I have had no trouble with this one for 6 years! Look it up on the net . They only cost about $150! I would be lost without the net!

MissyJean it is so EASY! I love it! I learned how to do it in high school and have recently taught my husband how to do it, now my kiddo wants to so its going to be awesome! What Renaissance Faire do you frequent? I grew up going to the one in Waxahachie Texas - Scarborough Faire, along with Texas Ren Faire and I've recently added the Maryland Renaissance Faire to the list of which I go.missyjean130 wrote:

Supplies are really not that expensive, you can get the equipment to make your own or have the rings ordered already cut, which is easier for me since I have the 4 year old, not want rings flying everywhere and catching him in the eye. There are colored rings, jewelry rings, stainless steel rings, titanium rings and aluminum rings that have been anodized so they don't turn your skin dark and dirty. but its better now
There are many sites that I can give you that can help you with that if you like but I can tell you right now the European 4-1 is going to be the easiest to learn on, master that and then you can add more. If you're interested let me know and I'll compose a list of everything I know. :
Hrm, I'm a 29 (nearly 30) year old mother of one and a drug store manager. Ive gardened all my life, mostly in Michigan, but have recently relocated to California. I'm learning a whole new lesson in growing things.
When its too cold or wet or just inconvenient to garden, I like to spend my time sewing (clothes, blankets, photo backdrops), reading with my daughter and playing with our pets (a dog & 2 cats). My daughter as just started Karate, and so I'm picking up some of tat as we go, as well.
And the other day, my laptop keyboard broke, so if you find that I'm missing any g, h or apostrophe... Its because cutting and pasting individual letters is too tedious for my brain to dependably wrap itself around!

I'm a 28 year old mother of 3 (soon to be 4) small children (my oldest is 5). I live in Jerusalem, Israel where I used to be a Medic (I stopped about 7 years ago when I moved to NY for a year) but now work as a matchmaker. In between, I worked for several non-profits including one in NYC where I lived the year I got married. I'm originally from California.
Since I live in a big city apartment, I only have containers and try to grow as many veggies and herbs as possible.
I have lived in California, Cincinnati, Israel, NYC, and then back to Israel.

I just turned 28 and gardened with my grandparents when I was a kid. I've had more jobs than you can shake a stick at; burger king, dominos, home depot, kohls, cabinet shop, clearing brush, house painter, janitor, nursery employee, chick-fil-a, sold sprint long distance, the list goes on and on. I went to film school and had my dream job become a reality. Reality bites, lol, wasn't for me. Now I work at the schools copy center and the theatre dept. as a stage hand. Planning on quitting my copy center job so I can take more classes. I'm studying to be a middle school science teacher.
I love to cook and eat! I love reading; science, philosophy and classic fiction. I'm a zombie nerd and a movie nerd. I chop my own firewood for relaxation and exercise. My backyard is full sun, my front full shade.
My current adventure are my garden, building a composting area over the summer and making my own vinegars. I also build birdhouses out of fence scraps, just started that but am getting the hang of it. I try to throw away as little trash as possible, even to the point of using old pots and pans for planters. My favorite right now is my wok hanging basket.
