Dixana,

If you are opinionated, I love you. I love people with strong opinions even when they disagree with me. I respect and enjoy people who are willing to stand up for their beliefs. Rainbowgardener is right when he says a gardening forum is not the place to discuss some subjects, but it is always nice to know people who are opinionated.

Oh lord
The lord has nothing to do with it but Webmaster will.

Seriously though, I'm glad the Lorax thing is cleared up. TheLorax tolerated me but I don't think she suffered fools gladly. Wonder how long I can fool Lorax.

And Tedlin, I'm a Christian fiscal conservative social liberal and I would like to see a full sized picture of those dogs in your avatar. They make me laugh. They may also be relatives.

Hi cuz!

Nope, didn't make it. I acquired it. Wish I could say I am that good with Photoshop. I am good, but nowhere near that good.

Ted, that's aunt Sarah in the middle. Can you work up a family tree and break it to her that the SC part of the clan are social liberals and refuse to hunt anymore?

They aren't hillbillies either. They're swamp dwellers. The teeth are a dead giveaway.

Send them our love and many wags.

Later back at ya cuz.

Now the rumors will all start again...

Nope, the teeth are indicative of the southern contingent of our family. We eat a lot of corn on the cob. With teeth like that, all you have to do is spin the cob and the corn just pops into your mouth. Most of the southern contingent would like to be social liberals, but that pesky constitution just keeps getting in the way.

Aunt Sarah said to tell you hi.

Hi cuz,
I'm dropping you just a short note to ask you to keep aint Sarah on your mind. You member aint Sarah doncha. She’s the one who told me to tell you hi in my last note. Well Sarahs been under the weather a little. Seems she got a real bad case of those fleas and ticks. I noticed her scratching a lot, but didn't think nothing bout it till they got all over me. I had to kick her out of the bed cause those things make me itch. I got some of that lye soap that cousin maude makes and washed Sarah twice real good. Maude got a little to much lye in her last batch of lye soap and all of Sarah’s hair fell off. She looks kinda funny, but the heat aint bothering her much. She does have little bumps all over her from those fleas and ticks, so I bought her a quart of that calomine lotion and smeared it all over her. Shes doing better but she just wants to lay on the floor and watch cspan all the time. it's driving me crazy cause I keep having to adjust that aluminum foil on the tv antenna so she can get a good picture. Youd think once that foil was adjusted, it would stay adjusted.
Well, I'll letcha go. I just wanted to ask you to think about aint Sarah. Were always thinking bout you and yours.

Charlie, I do more than "tolerate" fools - I heartily enjoy them! I'm an opinionated quasi-socialistic Buddhist tree-hugger with a strange sense of humour, so we'll probably get on just fine. :()

AAWW, poor Aunt Sarah.... although... your description of her, with no hair, bumpy skin, with pink lotion slathered all over, where she should have liver colored short fur... with those hill-billie teeth! :> QUICK block her ears!!! (...trying very hard not to LMFAO)

Get better soon, darlin' !

Ms applestar, Aunt Sarah asked me to tell you thank you for your concern and to let you know she is doing well. She even let me change channels from cspan on the television over to msnbc. She said she really likes those comedy channels. I did have to install cable tv to get that msnbc channel. I hooked that cable up to the television set and ran it all the way out to the outhouse and up the vent pipe on the outhouse. If you twist that channel changer knob so it sets kinda in between the numbers you can get some pretty good channels. If you let the twister knob go so far you hear it click, you can't get nothin. Well I gotta go for now. I'm kinda hoping cousin charlie comes back and visits some. I'm hoping to ask him if he has heard from cousin Bubba who used to live over in Hope, Arkansas.

Best to you!

Hope, Arkansas? My momma was born and raised there, she might know your cousin, Bubba. :) In August, Hope used to have the best Watermelon Festival ever! Those folks know how to grow some big ole watermelons!

But, the gators there are awfully mean, haven't heard from them in years! The people not the gators..

Aunt Sarah used to just bark at the TV. You've sent her to school. We bark at MSNBC and Fox.

If you can teach her to read a newspaper, I'll be impressed. She used to eat corn cob and all.

Yep, Hope Arkansas is where cousin Bubba was born. He didn't stay there long though. He got himself a real good job in Little Rock but he just kept that job for a few years. He was finally able to get another job in Washington DC. He only kept that job for eight years. He wearnt to bright though. He don't even know what the meaning of "is" is. I was just wondering if cousin charlie has heard from Bubba lately.

Well I gotta go feed aunt Sarah, and cousins Claude and Elmer. I just feed them those brown nuggets that you buy in the fifty pound bags at the grocery store. Most people think that stuff is just for dogs, but it ain’t. If they didn't want people to eat it, they wouldn’t tell you how much salt, protein, and fat is in it right on the package. Most folks know dogs caint read. I used to eat it pretty regular. it's good just poured into a bowl with a little sweet and low and some milk. I use that sweet and low instead of sugar cause I try to eat healthy. It also makes pretty good croutons on a salad made from my garden veggies. I even tried it in some soup instead of those little oyster crackers. I had to stop eating it when it put me in the hospital. I was standing at a bus stop waiting for the bus. I didn't see the bus coming when I stepped out in the street to sniff a golden retriever. The bus hit both of us and I wound up in the hospital with a broken tibia and a broken clavicle. I had to start eating cat food instead of dog food. It tastes pretty good and now squirrels leave the bird feeders alone cause I can chase them to the top of the trees. I can't understand why I have such an urge to dig little holes in the dirt in my garden and then pile dirt up over the holes with my feet. I won't complain cause my garden veggies sure are growing good now.
Good talking with you , but I need to fix some tea for a party tonight.
Cousin Ted
