newbie questions

hi,

I just joined and I have a few questions.

is there a search of an individual forums or all the forums? say I want to find posts about xyz, can I search for that and if so how?

is there a members list I can look at to see if people I know are here?

Look in the upper left-hand portion of each page. There's a box with the word "Search" immediately to its right.

Put in the term or phrase you're interested in. Examples:

weed control
worm compost
pollination

You can also look in each sub-forum from the Forum Index and scan down the list of threads in that area, e.g., Japanese Gardening, Vegetable Gardening. Then just read through the ones whose titles seem of interest to you.
