need help with anti gardening dog!!

Last night I bought a peppermint and spiriment herb plants and this morning when I went to check on them my beagle ate them both!! This dog has been on noise around the aloe vera but learned that the little pockers can hurt but it there a way to keep her out of the nice smellinig plants??

maybe you could put one of those wire gardening separators up.
