Random thread: What is your best art

Was just wondering if there are any other artists out there. I decided to make this thread for 2 reasons. 1- gardening in a sense is an art in my opinion and this is a gardening forum, 2- A new member by the name of origami just joined (found that out looking at some of the new posts) and I personally LOVE origami.

Soooo... is there anyone out there that has a piece(s) of art they made that they are proud of? If so would you mind sharing it? I am not really asking for "good" art just your best art or one you are proud of.

I build things and play a harmonica. I can't upload a recording but here is a desk I built for my wife. It's birds eye maple with purple heart and cherry inlay. The inlays are 1/2"

I'm also master of this lovely old lady. She's the MV in my handle

I didn't build her but I refit her inside and out.

Awesome!!!! The table looks really nice. I don't know a lot about boats but it sounds like you put a lot of work into it. Thanks for sharing. :D

I'm a graphic designer, that counts right? For fun, I've designed t-shirts. I also do digital scrapbooking. I did a few gardened themed ones for my first garden last year. Hence the avatar.

Here's my favorite!

Love that table Charliemv. Great job :) My great art is alittle different then those posted. My great and favorite art is the pictures, drawings and paintings me and my 4 year old granddaughter do together. :-()

Bambi, keep up the art with the 4 year old. When my niece was 4 I took a picture of her and her 2 year old sister on our boat at the time. They just looked so cute in their life jackets. The 4 year old grew up and majored in stage design and works now at the National Opera. We had her the photo framed for her college graduation. For our 25th anniversary we got the same picture back that she drew for us in watercolors. It blew my doors off.

Good eye Earl K. She's a 38' Chris Craft Corinthian. We did the proper ceremony and named her "The Shop" since I spent 25 years in one. It's fun answering the phone and telling people I'm at the shop.

I said I loved origami when I made this thread, so here is a model I made
of a cricket (my own design). I also have it up on my deviant art account.

I'm impressed, every time I ever tried origami I ended up with airplanes that didn't fly very well.

Charlie - incredible craftsmanship!

Carolyn - I wanted to do graphic design, but ended up in medical field (no regrets though)

Hass - amazing indeed!

My other hobbies - I enjoy "making things" (carbon fiber, elaborate automotive sound systems, car styling and tuning), but really enjoy photography. Specially macro and nature:

And sometime do some stage/concert shoots with few local bands

I just wish there was more time in the day to do what I like!
