I can't believe people do that! Seems a bit cruel if you're not equipped and prepared to keep the animal through adulthood. I suppose they do it with cats and dogs so why not chickens too? It makes me so upset when I see all the abandoned animals people give up because they are 'too big', they 'poo too much' or they just changed their minds.
