Roger - are you there? Has anyone ever considered a Helpful Gardener cruise?
There are many "specialty cruises". Last year my Aunt and Uncle went on a "Blogger's Cruise". Each year there are several "Cajun Music" cruises usually sponsored by local radio stations.
Why not put together a Helpful Gardener cruise? What a great opportunity to enjoy an amazing vacation and actually get to meet the Helpful Gardener family. You want to talk about gardening and horticulture? OMG - the flora and fauna are to die for! Bone fishing and tarpon fishing in Belize for Bobberman and all of the other fishing fans. Ruins in Costa Maya for history buffs. Gardens and rainforest. Cooking classes. Wine tasting. Scuba diving and snorkeling. The second largest barrier reef in the world. Best of all would be the opportunity to actually put faces to names.
The cruise lines work with large groups. Members could do presentations. Applestar - a power point presentation on indoor tomato gardening. Rainbow - lavender gardening and cooking. Bobberman and Roger - fishing.
With a large enough group we can reserve one of the clubs for a private party.
I am partial to Norwegian because I like the "Free Style" format - no set dinner hour.
I have fallen in love with cruising and want to cruise annually. Really a good investment for your $. Less than a destination trip since it is inclusive.
Roger, Mods and all of you guys and gals if you think this would be fun chime in.
BTW - Roger - it would be up to you and the Mods to put it together. If you do I can help with excursion information both through the cruise line and reputable independents. Also some does and don'ts. I also volunteer to make name tags and guest list with stateroom numbers for ease of contact.
Is this really crazy

I LOVE cruising and think this would be a wonderful adventure.
