Hi everyone...I need serious help! I am a military wife and I currently live on post housing in Hawaii, and our yard makes me want to cry! My husband is not the yard fixing type of person so that leaves me and I have no green thumb and I have no idea where to begin.

My husband weed wacks our yard once a month, I'm sure that is one of the reasons our yard looks the way it does. So please if I could get some detailed pointers I would be most appreciative, Thank you soooooo much I just want a yard my kids can enjoy! And maybe even get a green thumb along the way

You need begin with the basics of lawncare for your grass to grow properly. This begins with providing a healthy environment for your grass to grow.

Lastly, mow the lawn on a regular basis, keep it well watered, and try to keep the pests at bay that eat your grass.
