It's a wildflower, yarrow. It is native throughout the US and parts of Canada. Yarrow is an herb that has had many medicinal uses:

I put yarrow flower in herbal tea blends. Here's one lovely one:

Love Charm Tea: 3 parts yarrow, 1 part lavender, 1 part anise hyssop, 1 part spearmint. (this one came out especially yummy! )

that came from this thread where I posted some herbal tea recipes: viewtopic.php?p=128195&highlight=herbal ... pes#128195

Haha I was going to say, that’s not a weed — it’s yarrow!

Yarrow is resilient to mowing and light walking and grows into nice steppable lawn. It even blooms on teensy short stalks. I’m nurturing a patch to expand in my front yard.

In the backyard I have multiple patches of varying maintenance — some Are mowed occasionally, though not as regularly as the front, and some are grown in beds so I can harvest full size, unstressed healthy plant parts for herbal use like rainbowgardener mentioned.

Yarrow reseeds readily. You need to keep cutting off the flowers. I made the mistake of planting it once, I used Round Up, the roots are not that easy to dig up completely.

You are in Hawaii where everything grows wild. In cold winter places, yarrow does fine and returns like a perennial, but it does not reseed very much and doesn't spread rampantly. I have had to pull other things, like lemon balm, which does tend to turn into a weed in the garden, but never yarrow.
