Help identifying weed or grass

Hi all.I am new to the forum and am needing help indentifying a weed or grass that’s starting to grown on my Bermuda lawn.The lawn is beginning to come out of dormancy.I am located just north of San Antonio,Texas if that helps.Thanks.

It looks like dallas grass. Dallas grass and crab grass look similar. They both grow in clumps and the leaves are siimilar. It is easier to identify the grasses by the differences in the seed heads. Dallas grass is a perennial grass. In the south and warm climates, perennial weeds are very difficult to control by hand. If you cannot dig out all of the root it comes back. If you do use an herbicide, it will also kill the grass around it which will need to be patched. If the lawn has more weeds than grass, it may be better to just kill everything and start over.
