25E on lawn, almost completely dead.

First off, I'm not experienced in lawn care or weed prevention. This will prove it.

I was told I was getting 2,4-D from my dad...but I guess he mixed in a bit of 2,4-D in with an old bottle of 25E without thinking about it or telling me. It says 25E on the bottle, but I just assumed it was a knock off brand or formula. I was only going to use it on a select few areas in my back lawn, but decided to just spray the whole thing to be thorough. Now a majority of my lawn is completely dead or struggling.

My question is, what are my options? I realize 25E typically sterilized the lawn for up to a year...now. Most areas are not completely dead, but it is definitely burned. I applied the spray last week, and it hasn't rained since then. Will the chemical keep working to kill the lawn, or has it done most of the damage already? If the treatment wasn't too thick, would it stand a chance to bounce back without assistance? Realistically, I'm not likely to till the lawn or sod. Thanks for the help.
