Two weeds are starting to take over - what are they?

I have these two weeds starting to take over part of my lawn. I've done some research and I believe one of them is Poa Annua. Could someone help me identify them? Just mowed today so I was hoping to lay down some post-emergent in a few days. Assuming that these aren't already mature where weed control won't help.

Hello and welcome
It helps to add your location and zone to your profile.
If you live in the US you can look up common weeds that are in your state by googling weed id + state+ edu
This is what comes up for me when I look up handbook of Hawaiian weeds

Thanks! Looking forward to being a member of this forum. I added my location - Illinois.

I've been doing some more research and I'm thinking that the left weed is actually a perennial rye grass. Does anyone else have a different perspective?

It might help if you had a picture of the whole plant.
