Yellow spots in St Augustine grass

Grrrr!!!
What's up you guys, I have this issue and I'm really not sure what it is. I need to get a handle on it for sure. Hopefully you guys can give me advice anything helps, thanks.

I would give it a rake to get the dead brown thatch out , and then water well !
Then my lawn is looking similar,after some very dry weather and me missing some mowings in the spring !
