Tips to maintain lawn garbage free

Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice to manage my lawn garbage free. Since I'm having low backyard space, I'm finding it really difficult to manage all the garbages. So I'm forced to put some in the lawn and it looks bad always. I also thought of renting a garbage bin from Junk It. Please provide me with some ideas. Thanks.

Please define "garbage" -- are you talking about trash like paper, bottles, plastic? Kitchen scraps? ...or household items? Where do they come from -- are you tossing them out/strewing them around? Other people? Wind-blown?
