Small flowers invading lawn

Question for those who might be able to identify the picture below: what are these small white bulbs with red stems creeping up all over my lawn?

They're not covering the entire lawn, as they only appear in spots... They're in my front and back yard, so I'm assuming its not something that just blew in from the neighbors. If it helps to identify, I did notice mushrooms in spots towards the fall but I just assumed this meant my soil healthy. I overseeded and put down lime (in late fall) , but neither of these could contributed as far as I know.

I've tried image searches and can't really pinpoint them so far...

Although, I've only noticed them in the last week or two, so perhaps you're right MG. I'm going to keep digging around, as I'm just afraid to let them get out of control and end up with a bigger problem.
