Artificial grass

Last week the city dug up my front yard and raised a manhole to ground level. So now I have a 2x2 manhole in the middle of the yard. Grass obviously won't grow and it's in an odd area so I can't really plant around it.

I'm thinking about putting down some artificial grass. Does anyone have any advice on how to install it? Or just any advice in general would be great.

Thanks!

You would have to some how glue it on, or I would put a nice big pot or a whiskey planter on it.

Listen to tom! A circle of artificial turf in the middle of an actual lawn would be just as glaring and ugly as the manhole cover (aka work access hole cover :) ).

By whiskey planter he meant one of those barrels.

Why not consult with the company who provides the artificial grass installing services?

I think a pot over the hole would solve it . It is strange for a manhole to be in a yard. Ours are in the street and electrical box easements are usually in corners so they can be camouflaged with plantings or a surround.
