Hi. Newbie here. I live in Western New York and have a very nice front lawn. In the sun all day and rarely any weeds. I furtilize in spring, summer and just before winter. My lawn starts off in spring and early summer looking awesome. As the summer progresses, I get these areas of the lawn that are like one blade of grass that srouts a bunch of small blades at the top. It covers large areas of the lawn. They pull out very easy but makes the lawn look kinda crappy. It's green but after winter,it is dead and I have to rake it out. Any ideas of what this grass is and how to get rid of it?
