Ummm, you could...
But the thing is you will be losing about ten percent of germination percentage (marked on your bag somewhere) every year you store it, no matter what you do, so best to use what you buy and only buy what you need... frankly I just use whatever I buy, even putting it on at MUCH heavier rates than recommended (the best herbicide is MORE GRASS...
)
