I applied Scotts Plus 2 Weed control today. Only afterwards did I notice that it recommended a setting of 3 on my spreader, I used 10 not knowing that you could over fertilize. Will this kill my lawn? I am planning on watering heavily the next few days, any other advice?
Thanks!
Well, when I applied too much to my lawn, the grass turned brown, but the roots didn't die. The lawn looked awful for awhile, until new grassblades grew.
Extra watering might prevent the grass from turning brown. I had watered the fertilizer in, but didn't realize my error until the damage began to appear.
