lawn makeover
Hey everyone! Here's my question. What type of grass would be the best for southern california weather, considering that we don't get nearly enough rain to suffice. In addition, when would be the best season to overhaul my total lawn because my lawn looks more and more terrible as each year passes.

Do you really need grass? Southern California isn't the best climate for it. I grew up in Anaheim and I remember being out every morning watering the grass. That was half a century ago; now we know we don't have enough water to waste like that. Find a good book on Xeriscaping (dry gardening) and make a beautiful garden of desert native plants.
