self heal help.................................

hi it's my first post
can anyone help me with this rampant self heal in my lawn.
last year I used a weed and feed overdosed a little and had brown dead patches on my lawn all summer.
the self heal must have liked my treatment because it is everywhere.
what is the best thing to use as it is driving me mad and spreading like a wildfire.

I am afraid there is not a lot you can do about getting rid of selfheal apart from digging out every single plant. Even then you are likely to expose all the seeds lying dormant in the soil waiting to see the sun!
By poisoning and leaving bare patches you are just encouraging other weeds to fill the holes. Your best option is to really look after the grass so it can fight the weeds.
