I have gotten some suspicious replies when I've discussed milk as an application for milder fungal types such as mildew, but here's some info straight from the researchers. I am aware of other concurrent studies this side of the pond too. Youy have a perfectly good organic fungicide, and you're pouring it on your cornflakes!

It's true Scott that diluted milk sprayed on powdery mildew and blackspot will help. You need to spray it several times though. Several of my gardening books refer to it, and I have used it on my roses.
It does work!

My bee balm is not spotless, but it's close. Those blossom end rot and botrytis issues were almost non-existant in my tomatoes. Even the phlox and lilacs are clean. And I put the stuff in my coffee! Try that with Daconil! (NO! Wait! Don't! That stuff is POISON! )
