Does diatomaceous earth still work if it gets wet?

I put some DE around plants that were eaten( leaves), but I don't know if it still works , when it gets wet. Does anybody know or has anybody used it?

Yes, as long as it isn't totally washed away, it should still work. DE is sometimes applied as a wet solution.

Even if it's not as effective *while* wet, it'll start "working" again when dry.

The trick with diatomaceous earth is to make sure to use plenty of it. My experience is that using just a little ends up not working at all.
