Definitely fertilize before new growth begins. I believe pruning isn't necessary if they flower on old wood. It depends on the variety you have. Do you know?

No I do not because they are not mine they are at my work I take care of all the outside plants here. But the plant is large and it has huge blue flowers on it. It is not in a spot that it has overgrown yet. I can see little buds on the old wood though. thankyou I look forward to more of your input. your friend Melissa Beth :?:

Hey Melissabeth - I do not recommend pruning at this time. Hope this helps!
