brown spots on hydrangeas

Hello fellow gardeners- I recently purchased 4 large Hydrangeas from a reputable nursery. I planted them all within a few feet of one another. They face due North and have been watered well. One plant had brown spots on all its leaves (including the one flower) when we planted it. Now two weeks later, the 3 other hydrangeas have the same brown spots on every leaf- some so heavy that the leaf appears solid brown. What is this condition? I would like to treat it. Or,should I return them to the nursery where I purchased them?

Could be leaf-scorch from too much sun, but sounds fungal. Try neem oil and see if that clears it up ( if it is the sun, this could make the problem worse if applied in the full sun, so I'd do it first thing in the morning...
