ES BB turning Red

So not sure if this is unusual or not; however my ES BB is turning red. I know there are a few varieties of hydrangeas that provide fall foliage but I wasn't aware the ES did so? Is this normal or is something wrong with my plant?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, it is ok. Many hydrangeas have good looking fall foliage and others who do not put on a show, sometimes surprise you and do! It is normal so enjoy the show! For example, most oakleaf hydrangeas turn colors of brilliant red, orange, yellow and burgundy in the fall if planted in a sunny location with a little afternoon shade.
