Blue Billow in zone 4?

I was at a garden center today and admired a "Blue Billow" hydrangea. The store was an hour south of where I live. I'm a zone 4 (sometimes zone 5 with the right plants) This was tagged as zone 6, so I was ready to walk away, when a sales person told me that she was sure it would do well in my garden. I'm skeptical. When I first started gardening, I used to try to push the hardiness thing, but finally came to my senses. Still, every now and then, I see something that would be just perfect if only...Any northeners have any experience with this one. I have a couple other hydrangeas specified for zone 5 that do well, but think that this one may be pushing it.

To confirm, I looked at six nurseries. Half said hardy to zone 5 and the other half said hardy to zone 6. Does not bode well for Zone 4, hu?

The local nursery trying to sell the plant would probably tell you next year. gosh darn, to winter protect it when you begin to complain about problems. But fell free to try if you can somehow create a micro-climate that makes the area regularly behave as a Zone 5. But be prepared to winter protect otherwise.

It is a nice lacecap that I keep thinking of getting; I can see why you like it.
